Curriculum


The General Education curriculum at BryanLGH College of Health Sciences offers a range of courses in the liberal arts disciplines of the Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Communications, Mathematics/Economics and Humanities/Fine Arts. Many courses—including specialized electives—are designed to address issues of particular interest to healthcare professionals.

Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, General Chemistry, Pathophysiology, Nutrition, General Physics

Social Sciences

Introductory Sociology, Introductory Psychology, Human Growth and Development, Cultural Studies

Communication

Academic Writing, Public Speaking, Writing in APA Format

Humanities/Fine Arts

Ethics/Bioethics, Ethics in Health Care, Language, Humanities Elective (courses run according to availability and enrollment in English, writing, literature, art, music, theater, religion, philosophy, languages and speech/communication)

Mathematics/Economics

Elements of Statistics, Healthcare Economics, Intermediate or College Algebra

Health/Recreation/Physical Education

Wellness and Fitness, Physical Activity for Life, Stress Management, Health/Recreation/Physical Education Elective (courses run according to availability and enrollment)
